Direct Effect began with a vision - to serve the youth of Chicago and to make sure everyone had a Christmas present to take home during the holidays. And now for our 2025 season, Letters to Santa is back once again, after 25 years of running the program!

There are several ways you can sponsor Letters to Santa this year, please see below for ordering options! The cost per letter is $5 each to help us cover operations. This can be sent when you place your order via Zelle or Apple Pay using our phone number, 312-296-5311.

Please order early as this is going to determine the number of schools we take on. We will not risk having any letters unanswered. We will start distributing on November 1, and gifts are due back at the schools by December 12. My goal is to answer 5,000 letters in Chicago!
